Baby Boy And Baby Girl Clothes

By Darren Hartley

Knowing the correct size of the baby is the first and foremost requirement in the selection of baby boy clothes. No harm can be done by buying in a size that is too big because a baby will be able to fit into it in a few months down the road.

Fashion trends may be used as a criterion for picking baby boy clothes. This, however, does not mean that a parent can just follow the trend blindfolded. When making mud pies down by the creek, a baby boy should not be dressed in a formal attire. Conversely, when attending a formal dinner, the baby must not come in his pajamas. Hello?

Paramount to the selection of baby boy clothes is their ability to provide comfort and protection to the infant. No sharp zippers and no loose buttons, please, as they are most likely to be swallowed by the unknowing baby. No embellishments and no still labels, beg your pardon, that may cause injury and irritation to the soft and delicate skin.

The planned approach to the selection of baby girl clothes considers safety, function and convenience as the three primary factors to be the objectives in the decision making. Parents will never go astray in their choice so long as they keep these factors at the back of their heads all the time.

Baby girl clothes must be easy to put on, take off and care for. With becoming an inconvenience to a parent or to the child, changing the baby's diaper, underneath the clothes, must be easily and quickly accomplishable.

When choosing baby girl clothes, select those made of durable material. They must be able to endure regular washing without showing signs of fading and tearing. Remember that they would become messy and dirty a lot, and that can be the understatement of the year.
