Make The House Look Great With Fall Wreath Ideas

By Stacey Burt

Customers will have an overwhelming task of selecting from the various decorations that may be displayed when the weather changes, and there are many orange, brown and other vibrant colors that will signify the start of autumn in a region. A home will become transformed when great themes are added with fall wreath ideas. Young children will love being the helper with this type of project when all of the materials are gathered together.

A small home, that is designed in a cottage style, will look warm when a variety of autumn hues are scattered purposely through out the house. A spacious mansion style home will look stunning when larger pieces are place on interior or exterior windows and doors. A personal touch will be to add family photos to sandy colored wooden wreaths, and this will look nice when placed in a living room over a fireplace.

Fabric is a great choice for a client to use as a base for a new wreath project, and brown or orange strips can be intertwined around the frame before other items are attached. There are also many natural items, such a pine cones, that will look fabulous when glued to a frame. There are also many quality metal bases that fabric may be wrapped around to accentuate the current season.

Before starting a project, the right tools need to be assembled, and these items may be purchased from a quality craft shop. There are many different round base pieces in a wide selection of sizes, and the client may want to measure the desired area where the item will be hanging. The customer may also want to buy a glue gun, fabric pieces and small craft items, like beads.

The best part of doing this type of craft activity is because it is relatively easy and inexpensive to make. Seasonal items, like pumpkins and fall leaves, will look great whether real or made from plastic or fabric when attached to the base. Young children will also love helping to decide on where items are going to be placed on this unit when being created.

A fabric tie should be added at the top so that the wreath will hang from a front door or wall when finished. Some customers may want to attach the unit from the back at the top, and a small hanging tack can be added on the wooden or metal frame. A really personal touch will be to add the an initial to the fabric to designate the last name of the homeowners.

A simplistic item may be assembled from colors that include deep greens or rich browns that mimic the outside season. A contemporary item may include rich red or brown items, such as peppers, that are not normally used in a fall design, such as pumpkins. The individual doing the craft may also want to choose a family of shapes, such as all items that appear to be square.

The customer may need to make more than one item so that the front and back of the house is decorated, and autumn colors are beautiful and unique. Nature is commonly used as a them with this type of project, because it looks creative and blends in with the outside area. The finished unit will be a proud display for the client to show how accomplished they are at creating a lovely home.
