Major Issues To Address Before Hiring A Wedding Assistant In Bali

By Olive Pate

You have decided that you cannot handle everything to do with organizing your wedding on your own and you are better off hiring an event planner. To ensure that you get a wedding assistant in Bali who is the right fit for you, there are various factors you should consider. Some of the issues should be addressed when you are interviewing the planner for the first time for the position.

There are different types of help that you can get. It all depends on what your major needs are. If you are a busy person and don't have time to follow up on most of the details that pertain to the event, then you are better off hiring a planner who will take care of all the details of the event from the start to the end. You can also get partial help by hiring a planner who will just be responsible for helping you find a venue and service providers for the event. You can also hire someone who will just be responsible for managing events on the day of the event.

You and your partner should have a sit down and decide on some of the basic details of the wedding. This includes when the event will be held and how many people you intend to invite. You can also come up with basic themes or a basic vision for the kind of event you would like to have. Also agree on the budget of the event and the amount to pay the planner.

It is essential to let the planner you are considering know the date of your big event and ask them if they are available on that date. If they are available, then you can go ahead and discuss other details of the event with them. But if they are not available, you should continue your search for a planner.

Find someone with experience, someone who has organized other events before. You don't want someone who is doing this for the first time as they can really mess you up. Ask them for referrals and talk to the people whose events they have managed before. Ask them what it was like to work with the planner.

Most planners have a minimum budget that they would like to work with. Ask the planner the range of budgets they handle. If it is way above your budget, you may want to find someone else whose services you can afford. Also, if your budget is way above what they have worked with, they may get overwhelmed and may not be able to deliver to your expectations.

Ask them if they have planned an event at the site you are considering. If they have, this would be a plus as it would mean that they are familiar with the layout and can make some really good suggestions on what designs work best. They will also get along well with the staff at the venue.

You need to know how the planner works. As them how many times they expect to meet with you and what their preferred mode of communication is. Find out what processes you will have to go through from the start to the end of the event organization.
