The Water Fountain For Pets

By Angelina MacApanas

Pet Water Fountains are a really good idea when you want to encourage your pet to drink more water. They can be a bit of a novelty act to your pet making them want to interact with the device and drink water. These can also be filled up with more water than usual which makes them a bit more maintenance free by not having to fill up the water bowl a bunch of times in one day.

What is the basic premise of pet water fountains? First of all they have moving water which typically falls down like a stream into another bowl below. The water is also filtered before it comes back into the bowl making it taste better and healthier for your pet. The sound of the water falling seems to be mesmerizing to pets making them curious to visit the water fountain to take a drink. We have seen this with cats before as they become very curious and are found to be pawing at the falling water stream.

The Cats Rule Fresh Water Fountain features a frog at the top of the fountain which has water running out of its mouth. A very cool drinking fountain made specifically for cats. Even the kids will love this one. They may think it is a toy so you better watch out. The kids and the cats will be fighting over it. It also comes with 2 carbon filters that keeps the water nice and clean for a healthy cat.

There is also the Feng Shui Cats Drinking Fountain which is in the shape of a black Yin Yang symbol. Water Streams down like a waterfall and provides that peace and calm that goes well with that symbol. Of course it is a very cool drinking fountain with a lot of personality and a cool design that everyone will love.

As you can see there are some really cool cat water fountains out there to choose from. They have the ability to keep cats engaged and keep them drinking water. These devices are very well thought out with the needs of the cat in mind. Not only do they provide water to the feline friend but also provide some great entertainment.
